Visionimpairment and blindness impact the life of people everywhere, many ofthese problems are minor and don’t last too long. But there are some seriouseye problems that can cause major damage to the eyes, including a permanentloss of vision. Some common eye problems are Dry eyes, Allergic conjunctivitis,Glaucoma, Refractiveerrors, Cataracts - clouded lenses, Retinal disorders - problems with the nerve layer at the back of theeye, Maculardegeneration - a disease thatdestroys sharp, central vision, Diabetic eye problems Conjunctivitis - an infection also known as pink eye etc. ourbest Defense is to have regular check-ups, because eye diseases do not alwayshave symptoms. Early detection and treatment could prevent vision loss. See aneye care professional right away if you have a sudden change in vision, ifeverything looks dim, or if you see flashes of light. Other symptoms that needquick attention are pain, double vision, fluid coming from the eye, andinflammation.
