The Discipline Committee ensure compliance with the provisions of UGC Regulations on curbing the menace and indiscipline in the campus. The committee plays a vital role in maintaining discipline in the campus. The committee shall take cognizance of the complaints or allegations received against students. If the misdemeanor is minor, mild or moderate, such cases would be dealt with at individual level by the concerned faculty. Otherwise, it shall be referred to the Students Disciplinary Committee.


Objective


  1.         To ensure calm and peaceful academic atmosphere in the campus.

  2.         To avoid physical confrontation among students.

  3.         To conduct enquiries on report of in-disciplinary activities among students.

  4.         To take actions against students involved in in-disciplinary activities.

  5. To initiate steps to reduce violence, confrontation in future.
